Krazy Climb Birthday (more than 10 participants)

• Length: 75 mins (15 minutes for the important safety induction and harnessing up, 60 minutes of climbing and use of the Death Slide)
• Age: 6+ (if a participant is aged 6 or 7, the parent or guardian must stay onsite)

As part of our Krazy Climb session, you can have a go on our Death Slide! This thrilling, adrenaline-fuelled slide will have your heart racing and legs wobbling... and then you can try the steeper one.

It's not for the faint-hearted, but we'll guide you through how to do it and provide some moral support. 

If you do want to have a go, we require you to do the following:

• DON'T wear synthetic materials — we recommend cotton or denim, i.e. don't wear thin tracksuit bottoms or football shirts
• DO wear a long-sleeved jumper — preferably cotton-based
• DO wear socks without any holes in them!

Please note that the instructor has the final say on who can use the slide, and we ask that you follow this guidance. 

There is a risk of injury if the slide isn't used properly, but this should not occur if you are appropriately clothed and maintain the correct descent posture as instructed. If you're concerned, you can ask us about it. This isn’t an obligatory activity, and you’re more than welcome to opt out if you wish.

We’re very proud of our slide, and we’d like everyone to enjoy it as much as possible!

• Arrival time: Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time and check in at reception.
• Finding Us: You can find us here. We have limited parking along the front of our building in marked bays, so we’d advise walking, cycling, or using public transport where you can.
• Prerequisites: Please note that EVERY child participating must be registered before they arrive on the day. It's a simple process done online by the child's parent/guardian; more information is within your confirmation booking email. Please note that any child not registered will not be able to participate on the day.
• Clothing: Long trousers/knee-length shorts, t-shirt and jumper, clean trainers with socks. Please avoid polyester/nylon fabrics. No jewellery to be worn.
• Food: There is a café serving hot and cold food including pizza and toasties. If you'd like the HarroWall café to cater for your birthday party, please click on the 'Catering' tab above.
• Water fountains are available, so please bring your own bottle or use the cups provided.
• Unsure of numbers? We recommend booking at the lower end of your expected numbers and notifying us of any increase around a week before the party. We'll then take payment for the extra numbers over the phone before the day. The maximum number of children for this session is 20.

Make your birthday party even easier with our function room and catering options:

• Function room hire: £50 for 1 hour
• Catering: £9 per person (available with at least 7 days' notice)

You can add function room hire and catering during the birthday party booking process.

Each catered guest receives:

• ½ of a 10" pizza
• Selection of crisps
• Jelly
• Juice box

You can view the full catering menu here. If you'd like specific pizza toppings, please contact us by phone or email. Otherwise, pizzas will be served with cheese and tomato.

Self-catering is welcome; the £50 function room hire fee still applies.

Function Room Information

• The room is available for 1 hour.
• Access begins 15 minutes before the climbing session ends, giving parents time to set up.
• Children then have 45 minutes to eat and celebrate.
• Availability is first come, first served.
• Immediate access on arrival cannot always be guaranteed due to other bookings.

If the function room becomes unavailable after your booking is confirmed, we'll reserve seating for your group in the café instead.

Important

Confetti, glitter, and party poppers are not permitted in the function room. Use of these items will incur a £50 cleaning surcharge.
